Why Shoot Film?

Modern digital cameras a marvels of technology, but there is something about analog film photos that they just can't replicate. I choose to use vintage film cameras alongside digital equipment because of the timeless quality they bring to each image. Film captures light in a way that feels organic and imperfect, these photos possess a depth and texture that digital sensors often can’t replicate. Beyond the aesthetic, shooting film creates a more intentional process. Every frame matters, and each click comes with the anticipation of what unseen image will develop later. Perhaps most meaningful to me is the physical connection: each roll of film is a physical artifact tied to the memories it holds, making the act of photography not just about creating an image, but about preserving a tiny piece of time itself.

Consider having some or all of your portrait session done on film, and you can take that piece of time home with you after the shoot is over.
